Fair Use Policy

Overview

VRouter provides access to AI models through a shared routing infrastructure. This Fair Use Policy ensures equitable access for all users and protects the stability of the platform.

Free Tier Limits

10,000 tokens/day on core models (DeepSeek, Qwen, etc.)
Standard rate limiting applies (requests per minute)
No guaranteed SLA for free tier

Note: Free tier models include most open-weight models. Premium models (GPT-4o, Claude, Gemini Pro) may require a Pro subscription.

Pro Tier Limits

1,000,000 tokens/day included
Access to all models including gated/premium
Priority routing and lower latency
Custom provider key support

What Is Not Allowed

Crypto mining / compute farming: Do not use the API for cryptocurrency mining, proof-of-work, or any computationally intensive non-AI tasks.
Abuse / spam generation: Bulk generating spam, phishing content, or deceptive material.
Automated scraping: Systematically extracting model capabilities or training data.
Resale without authorization: Reselling API access or building competing services without a Business agreement.
Rate limit circumvention: Creating multiple accounts to bypass rate limits.

Data and Privacy

We do not store your prompts or completions.
We collect anonymized metadata: model name, token counts, latency, and status codes.
Usage data is retained for 30 days for routing optimization, then purged.
We do not use your data to train models.

Enforcement

Violations of this policy may result in:

Temporary rate limiting or throttling
Account suspension pending review
Permanent account termination for severe or repeated violations
